The Williams (fka East 7th Grandfamilies)

The Williams (fka East 7th Grandfamilies) is a newly constructed 60-unit development located in the East 7th corridor in Saint Paul’s Dayton’s Bluff neighborhood. The highly affordable units are geared toward larger families – 42 of the units are 3, 4, or 5-bedroom apartments. There are also 7 one-bedroom units set aside to provide permanent supportive housing for single adults experiencing homelessness and 7 units set aside for people with disabilities. Seventeen of the units are affordable to households at or below 30% AMI, and 43 units are affordable to those at or below 60% AMI. The site was previously vacant, owned by the Saint Paul Port Authority. The site was polluted, with remediation of the contaminants occurring before construction.

Project for Pride in Living (PPL) is the developer and owner of The Williams, continuing their rich tradition of providing quality, affordable, and supportive housing to the community.  In addition to the housing units, The Williams includes community amenities such as a fitness center and wellness room, package lockers, on-site management, bike storage, storage units, playground, lounge area, conference room, and an elevator.
