Brooks Landing and Brook Gardens were both built in 1978-79 and have been 100% project-based Section 8 since that time.  The developments serve low-income seniors and families respectively. In addition, people with disabilities are also served at both developments.

Due to age, Brooks Landing and Brook Gardens were in significant need of rehabilitation.  The locations of both properties provide residents with easy access to jobs, education, retail, and other vital and recreational services.
