Minneapolis Affordable Housing Trust Fund Awards Red Lake Band Development
The Red Lake Band of Chippewa Indians has been awarded more than $2.7 million from the City of Minneapolis Affordable Housing Trust Fund for its development in Minneapolis. Shoreview Area Housing Initiative Partners with St. Paul College Students
The Shoreview Area Housing Initiative (SAHI), a client of Landon Group, is partnering with a class of St. Paul College carpentry students to build a home for veteran Thomas Koop. Koop was diagnosed with PTSD after his 15-month tour in Afghanistan and was therefore unable to hold a job. With a long VA housing waiting list, Koop and his wife became homeless. Thanks to the volunteer work of these carpentry students and SAHI, Koop and his wife will have a home again. Click here to read more of this inspiring story.
