The Shoreview Area Housing Initiative (SAHI), a client of Landon Group, is partnering with a class of St. Paul College carpentry students to build a home for veteran Thomas Koop. Koop was diagnosed with PTSD after his 15-month tour in Afghanistan and was therefore unable to hold a job. With a long VA housing waiting list, Koop and his wife became homeless. The Eastside Food Cooperative broke ground on Monday, August 17, 2015 for its site expansion in the Northeast Minneapolis neighborhood. This expansion is expected to create 20 new jobs for the Co-op and to be completed by January 2016. Click here to read more about this exciting new addition!
